Dubai Prince rescues Nigerian Mother and Newborns

The Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has come to the rescue of a Nigerian mother and her babies who were prevented from leaving a hospital after giving birth.

Suliyat Adulkareem, 29, gave birth to a quadruplet on July 1st through C-section at Dubai’s Latifa Hospital for Women and Children.

She delivered two boys and two girls.

However, she and the babies were prevented from discharge because she couldn’t pay the bills.

CNN and other major news outlets reported on the situation to help it go mainstream.

Qibla FM also held an on air discussion over the issue last week.

Thanks in part to the Prince Hamdan the mother and her four babies can spend their first EID at home with their families and loved ones.
