Former President of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings, popularly known as JJ, has passed away at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital on Thursday morning (November 12, 2020).
Information made available to Qibla FM claims that Mr. Rawlings had been on admission at the hospital for a week before his demise.
He was 73 years old. Rawlings served as Ghana’s President from 1992 until 2001.
He leaves behind a wife (Nana Konadu) and children including the current MP for Klottey Korle Constituency Zanetor Rawlings.
