Voting centers have opened in Ghana where citizens will be casting ballots to elect a new president and members of the legislature.
Incumbent President Nana Akufo Addo is contesting to secure a second four-year mandate against his main opponent former President John Dramani Mahama.
Ten other candidates, including former first lady Nana Agyeman-Rawlings are also on the ballots seeking to win the presidency.
This year’s election, according to data researched by Qibla FM, will be the eighth since Ghana returned to a multi party system in 1992.
