Liberia: Munah Pelham-Youngblood dies in Ghana

Munah Pelham-Youngblood, a member of Liberia’s House of Representatives has died at age 36.

She was a member of Liberia’s ruling Congress for Democratic and represented the 9th District of Montserrado County.

Pelham-Youngblood became Liberia’s youngest ever female to be elected to the legislative body in 2011.

According to her biographical details available to QIBLA FM, Youngblood was born in 1983.

She was a career model before making the switch to politics.

She represented Liberia at the Miss Malaika International 2004 and came in second at Miss Liberia 2005.

She traveled to India in 2018 for medical treatment and was at that time rumored to have died.
